Hudson Yards Announces 2025 Backyard Programming
New York City (APRIL 24, 2025) — Hudson Yards, NYC’s premiere outdoor entertainment destination, announces its 2025 programming for Backyard at Hudson Yards presented by Wells Fargo (https://www.hudsonyardsnewyork.com/see-do/backyard-hudson-yards). New to Backyard this year, visitors can experience outdoor fitness classes with lululemon, Rhone, and Alo Yoga, kids clinics with CityPickle, Paw Play Days programming with participating dog adoption partners, and WonderSpark Puppets, an interactive puppet show for kids of all ages. The popular FREE concert series also returns. This season’s exciting concert lineup features a diverse array of music genres from artists: Brittney Spencer, Cian Ducrot, The Knocks, Paul Russell, and more.

Summer Concerts at The Wells Fargo Stage
FREE performances every Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, June 25th – August 13th, with programming and production by Overland Entertainment. During Wednesday concerts, Wells Fargo customers will receive exclusive access to the Wells Fargo Club, open from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with complimentary snacks and beverages while supplies last.
The lineup will feature performances by artists including The Knocks (July 2nd), Cian Ducrot (July 9th), Paul Russell (July 16th), Alex Sampson (July 23rd), and Brittney Spencer (July 30th). Performances for the June 25th, August 6th and August 13th dates will be announced soon.

Family Fun
Mozart for Munchkins – Interactive concerts featuring musicians from renowned orchestras, Broadway, and beyond. Each performance is a musical adventure for children of all ages.
WonderSpark Puppets – An interactive puppet show will inspire imaginative play and interpret childhood classics such as The Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks & The Three Bears, and so much more.
Family Friendly Movie Nights – A series of family-friendly movies on the public square and gardens will be streamed on the 30-foot Big Screen, including Freaky Friday (2003), Tom & Jerry (2021), and Wicked (2024).
Family Day, May 17th – An entire day of family fun at Hudson Yards from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM with an exciting lineup of interactive concerts by Mozart for Munchkins and Hopalong Andrew, balloon artists, face painters, and surprises throughout the day. On a first-come, first-served basis, Wells Fargo is providing stroller parking for all Family Fun event attendees.

The Big Screen
Free sports watch parties, as well as family-friendly and fan-favorite blockbuster movie screenings, are back by popular demand and will be played on the 30-foot Big Screen in the Public Square and Gardens with seating open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.

Power Hour
Reading Rhythms – Modern day book club fuses music, reading, and connection into a “reading party”–a social experience for bookworms like no other.
Fitness Programming – A number of Hudson Yards fitness brands will offer free classes. Alo Yoga will host a RUNNERs Club, Wellness Walks, and Dance Cardio on the public square and gardens. Rhone ambassador Jay Markland will host the Extra Mile Run Series, and lululemon programming will be hosted by run ambassador Nick Arrington. Wells Fargo customers receive early access to RSVP to every Power Hour fitness program held on the plaza.
CityPickle – The leading pickleball brand will be back at Hudson Yards this summer with Saturday morning kid clinics, a celebrity pickleball tournament, and court times open to the public. From June 1-July 26, Wells Fargo customers will receive complimentary CityPickle paddle rentals at all reservation times and Wells Fargo customers will have access to book a dedicated CityPickle daily reservation slot from 6:00-7:00 PM via the CityPickle website.

Paw Play Days
Bring your pups for portraits and treats with Dog City, or come to adopt from Rescue City and Animal Haven. Dylan’s Candy BarN®, Dylan’s Candy Bar’s nonprofit supporting animal welfare, will host live puppy meet and greets at each event.
