Every summer, New York City becomes the center of the tennis world as the US Open brings two weeks of world-class competition and unforgettable moments to Queens. This year, the excitement extends beyond the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center and into Manhattan.
From August 30 through September 5, 2026, the US Open Experience at Hudson Yards will bring the energy of the tournament directly to fans with a free, weeklong activation. Tennis fans and visitors of all ages can get in on the action with interactive games, tennis activities, entertainment, food and beverage, official merchandise and more.
Throughout the week, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., visitors can get into the spirit of the tournament with activities inspired by the US Open and its New York roots.
Ever wondered what it feels like to walk onto the court at Arthur Ashe Stadium? The Player Tunnel and Champions' Photo Experience recreates the iconic entrance players make before stepping onto the court in front of thousands of fans. Walk through the tunnel, then strike a pose and capture your own US Open champion moment.
No US Open experience is complete without a Honey Deuce. Instantly recognizable by its tennis-ball-inspired garnish, the cocktail has become one of the tournament's most iconic traditions. During the weeklong activation, Dickson's Farmstand at Hudson Yards and Queen's Tavern will serve the iconic Grey Goose® Honey Deuce®, the signature cocktail of the US Open.
Take a piece of the tournament home with you at the Official US Open Merchandise Store, featuring a curated selection of authentic tournament merchandise.
A select number of the first fans who purchase merchandise each day will also receive a free collectible match-used US Open tennis ball, while supplies last.
Visitors can step onto two 40-foot-by-20-foot sport courts and pick up a racquet for a friendly game of Red Ball tennis. Equipment will be provided by Wilson, with specially curated programming offered throughout the week for players of all experience levels.
At Advantage Arena, tennis meets interactive gaming. Fans can explore tennis-themed gameplay across popular titles including Roblox, Fortnite, Tennis Clash and TIEBREAK – Grand Slam Edition.
Official US Open partners will also bring interactive experiences to Hudson Yards throughout the week. Visitors can discover product sampling from Heineken 0.0, La Roche-Posay and Lavazza, a fitness activation from Peloton, and Polo Ralph Lauren's anamorphic tennis-ball sculpture.
On August 30 and 31, artist Eugenia Mello, creator of the 2026 US Open theme art, will be at Hudson Yards creating a live rendition of this year's artwork. Watch the creative process unfold and get a behind-the-scenes look at the visual identity of the 2026 US Open.
As the day winds down, the energy continues on and around Vessel.
Sunset Sessions will feature a marquee lineup of official US Open DJs performing live each evening from 5–8 p.m., creating an open-air soundtrack for the weeklong celebration at Hudson Yards.
While there’s nothing like experiencing the tournament action live from the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, there are plenty of opportunities to watch the US Open throughout New York City. From outdoor viewing experiences and public watch parties to sports bars and restaurants, fans can find plenty of ways to follow the action beyond the tournament grounds.
As part of Backyard at Hudson Yards, ESPN's coverage of the US Open will be shown throughout the tournament on Hudson Yards' 30-foot outdoor screen, giving fans an open-air place to watch the action, cheer alongside fellow fans and pair the viewing with a unique US Open-themed experience.

Hudson Yards is easily accessible from throughout New York City and the surrounding boroughs. The most direct subway route is the 7 train, which terminates at 34 St–Hudson Yards. If you're planning to visit Hudson Yards before or after a match at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, the 7 train provides a direct connection between the tournament and Hudson Yards. The neighborhood is also accessible by bus, Citi Bike and the High Line.
