HY ♥ WCK: Relief on the Hudson

Together, Related Companies and World Central Kitchen have partnered to feed our heroes on the front lines. We have mobilized a World Central Kitchen outpost on the southeast corner of 34th Street and 11th Avenue in New York City. World Central Kitchen’s Chef Relief Team, Related’s volunteers, and Hudson Yards’ restaurant staff are dedicated to providing meals for healthcare workers, soldiers, police officers, EMTs, and support staff.

Related Companies and Wells Fargo have kicked off the campaign at $1,000,000, each contributing $500,000. The outpost at 55 Hudson Yards is made possible in part by Mitsui Fudosan Americas, Inc. and Oxford Properties Group.

FEMA and the U.S. Navy, along with the Governor’s Office and the New York National Guard, have activated temporary emergency hospitals, including the nearby Jacob Javits Convention Center and the USNS Comfort at Pier 90, to aid our city’s healthcare system. In partnership with Related, Chef José Andrés’ global organization, World Central Kitchen, uses the power of food to build resilient communities and to strengthen economies.
