Must-Have 2023 Spring Fashion Trends

Sheer fabrics, ballooning silhouettes, and romantic touches are just a few of the season’s hot looks.

Bold reds, pretty pastels, peek–a-boo fabrics, artistic florals, big sleeves, off-the-shoulder looks… pick your pleasure. Fashion is offering so many great trends for Spring! For good measure, the season also brings long-awaited collaborations and new interpretations. And, of course, you can find it all at The Shops.

Sheer Brilliance

Arguably one of the top trends of the season, you can see the see-through look everywhere. Scanlan Theodore’s mesh diamante dress ($1,800) comes in one of spring’s top color trends—pastel.

Arm Candy

Fashion has fallen for statement sleeves. Kate Spade's puff sleeve dress ($398) and Scanlan Theodore’s white mini ($550) both feature voluminous versions of the look.

Together Again

After 10 years, Louis Vuitton has once again partnered with Yayoi Kusama for a collection that spotlights the artist’s classic motifs. Her psychedelic flowers grace men’s pants ($1,590), white shirt ($1,450), jacket ($4,850) and the LV x YK Bandoulière Keepall ($5,150). And her signature dots spice upon a variety of items, notably, the bouncy, cult Archlight Sneaker ($1,350).

A Fine Romance

The spring/summer 2023 runways sported a particularly feminine touch, embracing frills and finery. Dior’s belted skirt ($4,500), with an enchanting Dior Jardin Magique motif, pairs sweetly with the brand’s classic heeled slides ($850), with their beige raffia embroidery and Petite Fleurs print.

Patch Work

The new preppy for men is presented beautifully and boldly by Kenzo’s artistic director Nigo in an homage to the brand’s late founding designer Kenzo Takada. Two equally awesome takes on this youthful look: a riot-of-color patchwork jumper ($935) and the blue-and-white “Sailor” cardigan ($1,070), both of which nod to the season’s emerging bubble silhouette.

Red Hot

Expect to see this vibrant crimson hue everywhere, this spring and beyond. For a powerful one-two punch, wear H&M’s single-breasted jacket ($49.99) and slacks ($32.99). Bonus: Blazers are on fire right now!

Budding Beauty

With everything blooming all around, designers are presenting their own floral originals. Many of the options have an Impressionistic feel: Louis Vuitton’s embroidered Capucines Mini ($9,000), Dior’s late-Bloomsbury-artist-Duncan-Grant-inspired Charleston Anorak ($3,600) and the pastel flowers on H&M”s relaxed-fit resort shirt ($17.99).

Off Is On

There might still be a chill in the air, but off-the-shoulder looks are hot this season. If you want to bare yours, try on Aritzia’s cropped Babaton sculpt top ($68). Pair it with the brand’s skirt ($78) to slay in stunning Spring chic.

Comfort Casual

Versatile fashion ready for the street or the gym and everyhwere in between. Get a full look with the Vapor Training Short Sleeve ($78) paired with the Resort Jogger ($138) from Rhone.
