Real Estate and Business Community Joins Related and Oxford to Celebrate the Opening of 30 Hudson Yards
10,000 Employees to Occupy New Neighborhood’s Tallest Commercial Office Tower by the End of the Year
NEW YORK, NY – April 4, 2019 – Two weeks after the official opening of the Hudson Yards neighborhood, and the first employees from WarnerMedia started moving into their new office space, hundreds of real estate and business executives joined Related and Oxford to celebrate the opening of 30 Hudson Yards and “officially” cut the ribbon on their new office space in the neighborhood’s tallest commercial office tower.
In addition to providing commercial office space for 10,000 employees from some of the world’s leading businesses, including Kohlberg, Kravis & Roberts (KKR); WarnerMedia and its subsidiaries CNN, HBO, Warner Bros. and Turner; and Wells Fargo Securities, the 2.6-million-square-foot LEED Gold-designed skyscraper by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates also features a large-scale installation entitled Voices by Jaume Plensa. Voices is made up of eleven steel orbs of varying sizes with the letters from eight international alphabets and is suspended above the 250-square-foot lobby. At the top of the building, employees and New Yorkers alike will soon be able to enjoy panoramic views from the highest outdoor observation deck in the Western Hemisphere, edge, which is scheduled to open its doors by early 2020.
