New York City – October 27, 2026 – Hudson Yards will kick off the holiday season on November 16th with the 7th annual “Shine Bright at Hudson Yards Presented by Wells Fargo,” bringing a spectacular lineup of holiday programming, festive experiences and striking installations. Running through January 7th, 2027, the celebration will transform Hudson Yards into the ultimate holiday destination with more than 2 million twinkling lights, 725 evergreen trees, a 32-foot hot-air balloon centerpiece suspended in the Great Room, and eight 12-foot toy soldiers. The season will be filled with lively experiences, from complimentary photos with Santa and holiday dining to special events and celebrations for visitors of all ages.

Vessel Lighting Ceremony Festivities officially begin on November 16th with the 2nd Annual Vessel Holiday Lighting Ceremony, hosted by Helen Little of 106.7 Lite FM and headlined by Grammy® award-winning artist and Golden Globe® and Emmy®-nominated actor, producer and singer/songwriter Anthony Ramos. The evening of entertainment will feature live performances by the New York Vocal Collective, Brooklyn United Drumline, and more, as well as the first glimpse of Vessel’s dazzling new light show.
The Vessel lighting is free and open to the public. The show will begin at 6 PM. Following the performances, ticket holders are invited to explore Vessel’s new interior holiday display.
Seasonal Holiday Events
Vessel Light Show – Visitors to Hudson Yards Public Square and Gardens during the holiday season will experience a light show unfolding along the Vessel's exterior. The daily light show is free and open to the public. Ticket holders will also enjoy new magical photo opportunities inside the structure, including a breathtaking 18 ft. tall mistletoe installation, sure to become one of the season’s most sought-after backdrops for festive photos with loved ones. Vessel ticket holders will have the opportunity to purchase professional photos under the mistletoe. Vessel will be open daily through January 7th. Tickets are available at www.vesselnyc.com.
Wells Fargo Carousel – From December 3rd through December 30th , the Wells Fargo Carousel will make its debut in the Hudson Yards Public Square & Gardens, offering free rides for visitors of all ages throughout the holiday season. Additional details will be available soon at wellsfargohy.com.

Here Comes Santa Claus – Santa is once again flying his sleigh to The Shops at Hudson Yards, arriving this Black Friday, November 27th, and every Monday-Friday through December 23rd from 5 PM - 8 PM on Level 3. Visits and photos with Santa are free, open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Enjoy special offers from Lovepop, Van Leeuwen, Aroma 360, and more.
Hanukkah Menorah Lighting – Kicking off Hanukkah, there will be a Menorah lighting celebration with Chabad of Midtown on the Public Square & Gardens for a special night of music and delights. Dates and times to be announced.

Edge Holiday – At Edge NYC, custom seasonal content and festive décor will bring the holidays to life across the attraction’s new indoor immersive experiences and iconic outdoor observation deck. In the Kaleidoscope room, guests will step into a shimmering holiday world filled with reflective ornaments, prismatic snowflakes, and radiant stars. A spectacular light show set to holiday-themed music will animate Edge’s indoor installations throughout the day and into the night, and outside festive décor set against sweeping skyline views will create unforgettable New York City photo moments. Sip & Shop presented by Mastercard® – On December 9th from 5 PM - 8 PM, The Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards are hosting a one-night-only Sip & Shop event presented by Mastercard, free and open to the public. The event will feature exclusive offers, giveaways, the best shopping offers of the season, special VIP perks for Mastercard cardholders and complimentary Champagne Pommery bars.
